Road Cycling

Road Cycling (bicycling) is a sport most commonly performed on a bicycle. Bicycles were introduced in the 19th century and now being the major form of transportation in some countries.

Bicycles is a clean form of transportation as well as a great sports for exercise, it run with renewable energy thus reduced air pollution and noise pollution as compare to other automotive vehicle. Bicycles is even more efficient and popular in area (city) with dense population. But there are also critics on bicycling for the unsafe of less protection to accident and not good at transporting passengers.

Equipment:

Cranksets is the component of a bicycle drive train that converts the reciprocating motion of the rider's legs into rotational motion used to drive the chain, a good cranksets works efficiently with smooth gear and proper rotation ration can highly utilize the rider's energy effort and hence, generating better performances.

A bicycle pedal is the part that the rider pushes with his foot to propel the bicycle. It provides the connection between the cyclist's foot or shoe and the crank allowing the leg to turn the bottom bracket axle. A Good Pedals protects the rider's foot with rotational pedals for foot/ankle resting as well as rough surface to maintain the fiction between to prevent rider's foot slip out.

Bike Shoes generally is flexible and comfortable to riders.

Derailleur gears are a variable-ratio transmission system commonly used on bicycles, consisting of a chain, multiple sprockets of different sizes, and a mechanism to move the chain from one sprocket to another. Although referred to as "gears" in the bike world, bicycle "gears" are technically sprockets since they drive or are driven by a chain, and are not driven by one another.
